Throughout the system, dates should display the month as it's 3 letter abbreviation to avoid any confusion between UK and US date formats. Customers will have the option to set the date format. Any functionality for adding/editing/deleting would be ultimately determined by any users security level. These would be defined as part of the Customers configuration process. Security is defined at User Group Level so to grant security to a user, they must be made a member of the required User Group or create a new User Group with the required security levels and make the user a member. There would need to be a secure login from day one. As the system is made available to Customers other than Calibre, ACRES must be able to limit the number of Concurrent Users with warning screens once Customers exceed such limits. Fields that may not be 'null' are defined as OBLIGATORY and Users of ACRES will not be able to proceed beyond such field until completed with a valid entry. Where ACRES refers to multiple selection options for any given database field, ACRES must have a suitable maintenance section where the variables can be defined and maintained. Help and Tips need sto be available throughout ACRES. |
