There may arise a situation where an Acres user wishes to sell a product at a currency that is not their BASE currency. For example, the BASE Currency may be set as Pounds Sterling (GBP) and the product contract is in United States Dollars (USD) but the Acres user wishes to sell in Euros (EUR).
Using the CurrencyROE Table, Acres will be able to convert the contract USD to BASE Currency GBP but then Acres needs to be able to convert to selling EUR.
This could be achieved in 2 ways. Either use the CurrencyROE Table to convert GBP to EUR or maintain an alternate ROE Table to store exchange rates between non-BASE currencies. The latter method may be more accurate. |
